Education is the very foundation of society. Currently, Taiwan’s education system is failing 1 in every 9 children, because there are not enough teachers in resource-poor communities. Teach For Taiwan’s mission is to close this achievement gap by placing talented and committed young leaders to teach in high-need classrooms. We talk to founder Anting Liu about the organization, education for remote areas, and some ideas on education direction.
