On March 16, right before the Sunflower Movement occurred, we interviewed Kharis Templeman, a Social Science Research Associate at Stanford University and the director of the Taiwan Democracy Project, with thought-provoking questions focused on democratization in Taiwan in the 90s, how that compares with other countries’ experiences, and the future of democratic consolidation in Taiwan.
